The capital city of Ameghda and where one would be able to most easily find Asina, the ruler of the darker kingdom. The Tekanic Palace is tall and carved from dark, glass-like stone that spirals ominously into the often dark and cloudy sky and the colors of the surrounding marketplace are drab, dark, and muted. The city is surrounded on all sides by natural defenses: To the east are the Kekenc Mountains; to the north is both Lake Wrath and the Certann Forest; to the west is Demon's Throat Canyon; to the south the Sister Sea. Running through and around the city is also one of the larger branches of the Rue Rivers, which twine down from the Kekenc Mountains and through Lake Wrath.

An enormous mountain range that bridges the Certann Forest with the Sister Sea. Travel correctly or with the right company, and if you cross the mountains heading east you may find yourself in another of the realms of the Lands Beyond. The Rue Rivers wind through the whole of the mountain range and down to empty into the Lady's Claw, a gulf of the Sister Sea. High in the shadowed mountains is another place, though, a secret place that many tell tales of and few have ever see. A beautiful place with a grand waterfall that is the mother of the Rue Rivers. This rumored place is called King's Tears and is said to connect directly to Lake Wrath by the branch of the Rue Rivers that lead back to the mountains from the pool. However, it is an impossible path to take, as the mountains in that particular area are too steep.
